There are 30 doors within the Escape Arcadeâ˘, each leading to a different challenge. For a head-spinning early noughties throwback, choose Snake 2.0.
Snake 2.0 is a fast-paced, multiplayer reinvention of the brick phone classic, with a BIG difference. Four massive Y2K-style brick phones line the walls and ceiling of this room, with the snake passing across, up and back around in search of points. Much like the classic version, in Snake 2.0, youâll take command of the snake, moving across the boards to hoover up as many points as possible and growing over time. Hit a wall, or yourself, and itâs back to square 1!
Youâll control the snake through four large buttons on the floor. As the snake grows and speeds up, youâll need amazing communication and reactions to keep your run going. With 5 minutes on the clock, youâll need to keep your snake alive for as long as possible to earn a spot on our prestigious leaderboards.
Whether played solo or as part of a team, this game requires coordination, timing, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Think youâre up to it?

With the snake stretching across multiple screens, youâll need to track its position from all angles and adjust your movements accordingly.

Top Tips
Split the four buttons between players before you start, so that everyone has a clear responsibility. Itâs faster and stops people from stepping over each other.
The best teams nominate one person to call out directions from the start. With everyone reacting to a single voice, youâll avoid confusion and keep your snake alive for longer.
In Snake 2.0, your snake is not bound to a single screen, itâs moving between 4. We recommend keeping a special eye on the ceiling screen, which has caused many a great run to come to a swift end.
Donât just chase the points. Plan your path, leave space to turn, and avoid trapping the snake in tight corners.
With 5 minutes on the clock, even the best teams will occasionally make an error. Whatâs most important is being able to start again, ready to make the most of your remaining time.
