The Escape Arcade® holds 30 identical doors, each hiding an immersive simulation. For an island getaway, take a step into Feed the Birds, a high-pressure throwing challenge where accuracy and consistency could be rewarded with a place on our exclusive leaderboard.
This shooting gallery challenge transports you to a lush tropical island, replete with palm trees and a variety of feathered friends. Your unit will need to throw an endlessly restocked supply of balls into a variety of holes within the trees. While some of the targets are easier to hit than others, keep in mind that a higher number of points is rewarded for landing a ball within one of the difficult slots.
You’ll have 5 minutes on the clock, so it’s crucial to maintain pace and accuracy to reach the upper echelons of our leaderboards. Whether played on your own or with a unit of up to 4, Feed the Birds is perhaps our greatest test of accuracy.

Skills Tested
Accuracy
This is a simple but tough challenge. Your unit will need to throw as many balls into the holes within 5 minutes. The harder targets will net you higher points.
Consistency
The best units hit their target again and again. It’s not enough to nail the perfect shot; you’ll need to nail the perfect shot every time.
Teamwork
This is a simulation where teamwork is rewarded. When two players (or more!) target the same tree, things can fall apart quickly.
Leaderboard
As basic training for all EQIC operatives, we track everything that occurs within the Escape Arcade®, giving units both an overall score and scores on each of the simulations they complete. If you think you’d be able to compete with the best on Feed the Birds, check out the leaderboard.
Top Tips
Consistently scoring is the key to reaching our leaderboards, and the best way to do this is to plant yourself in place, choose a target, and perfect your throws. If you can consistently land balls within a more difficult slot, you’ll be raking in points.
There are palm tree targets within Feed the Birds that are relatively easy to hit and others that are a real challenge. While the more challenging targets will reward you with higher point totals, if you can’t hit them consistently, it may be worth sticking with the easier targets.
Don’t be disheartened or distracted! Feed the Birds is as much a test of perseverance and consistency as it is of aim. To reach the top of the leaderboards requires a continual stream of successful throws throughout. Don’t give up!
Lots of games within the Escape Arcade® can be effectively challenged as a single player, with more cooks making consistency difficult. Feed the Birds is not one of those rooms. The more people in your unit (up to a maximum of 4), the more balls thrown at targets. If you want to make it to the top of our leaderboards, bring friends.
