Enigma Quests offers groundbreaking immersive experiences. Your immersion begins from the moment you enter the building, and your choice matters. We’ve recently released our newest Escape Room Field Missions which offer consequence-based choices in-game, as well as our highly loved (and addictive) Escape Arcade® experience. Why us? Customer service is at our core. We love inclusion and immersion, and we aim to offer you an experience that is truly out-of-this-world.
All players at our Holborn location will in-fact be undertaking clandestine work for EQIC, a top secret organisation dedicated to keeping balance in the universe. The Escape Arcade® acts as basic training for all EQIC recruits, and our missions (sometimes called Escape Rooms) are real-world field missions for EQIC. There are murmurs of discontent within the multiverse, with a rogue operative known as "The Orbweaver" rumoured to have taken control of our on-site bar, Beyond the Web, to further their goals of undermining EQIC.
Our EQIC handlers across the location are there to bring you into the immersive world of our experiences, and to offer any help needed if you're lost or confused.
Our Escape Rooms are designed to be played in units of 2-5 operatives. Of course, the sweet spot would be a team of 3 / 4.
We can stretch your unit to a maximum of 6 operatives. The 6th player can be paid for on arrival by card (as we are a cashless site). We wouldn't recommend this option as more operatives can make it trickier for units to navigate the intricacies of the narrative, however, the option is there for those who think they are up to the challenge!
Escape Arcade® is designed to be played in units of 2-4 players. We can host up to 16 players per time slot, however, Escape Arcade® simulations can only be played by up to 4 players per unit.
This makes this Quest ideal for larger parties, such as Corporate Events or Birthday’s.
For Escape Arcade®:
Any players aged 11 and under require an adult (aged 18+) chaperone to always be with them. We require one adult chaperone per team. If you have more than 4 young players, you will require more adult chaperones to attend on the day.
Any players aged 12-15 will require an adult in the vicinity of the area. They are welcome to wait in our bar, Beyond the Web, or within 5-10 minutes' distance from the venue.
No adult chaperone is required for aged 16 and over.
For our Escape Rooms:
Any players aged 11 and under require an adult (aged 18+) to always be with them. We require one paying adult per team. They must be counted in the team's numbers, and must not exceed the maximum team size.
Any players aged 12-15 will require an adult in the vicinity of the area. They are welcome to wait in our bar, Beyond the Web, or within 5-10 minutes' distance from the venue.
No adult chaperone is required for aged 16 and over.
Absolutely! However, please be aware that there are some simulations in Escape Arcade® which are highly physical.
You can opt out of these simulations and choose to observe; however, please note that some games will require you to wait outside of the room as the floor itself is part of the game.
All of our Escape Room Field Missions are safe for pregnant players, however if you are playing The World of Witchcraft and Wizardry, please do inform your EQIC handler on the day, or email us ahead of time to make any necessary accommodations.

All of our experiences last for 60 minutes. Each experience requires our players to arrive at least 15 minutes before.
Please allow up to 90 minutes for your session to include your arrival time, your experience, and debrief with your host.
You will need to arrive 15 minutes before your slot time to allow for a smooth beginning to your experience. The extra time will allow for your check-in time, any extra payments to be taken, your personal belongings to be safely tucked away in our lockers, and of course, time to quickly dash to the loo!
As your experience with us is a live event, we will not be able to offer any refunds under any circumstances.
You are able to reschedule your booking for another day if you give us at least 72 hours’ notice in writing by emailing us at bookings@enigmaquests.london. Anything later than this, there is unfortunately nothing we can do.
If you do not know when you are next able to come, we can cancel your slot and issue you a voucher for the same amount as your booking for you to use at your convenience.

A member of our team would be more than happy to escort your unit downstairs into our experiences via our elevator if required.
Escape Arcade® has plenty of accessibility! However, there are some games that would not be suitable for wheelchair players due to the physical requirements of the game. Our team can offer you a list of all games with accessibility access. This would be helpful for wheelchair players or those in need of audio accessibility.
Our Escape Room Field Missions are partially accessible, however we would suggest contacting our team for further details.
We use music and special effects to create immersive experiences within our Escape Rooms, but none of them are essential to the success of your mission. If you require anything like this to be changed, we will be as accommodating as possible.

We are located at 86 Fetter Ln, EC4A 1EQ, a quick walk from Chancery Lane tube station and Farringdon rail station. For buses, travel to Holborn Circus.
Escape Arcade® is a widely loved and highly established new immersive experience created by Enigma Quests. 30 doors are offered to Operatives to pick from, each of them hiding a 5-minute simulation challenge to take on. These challenges vary in nature, ranging from challenges of dexterity, agility, lateral thinking, logic and much more. In Escape Arcade ®, you can never tell what’s next!
Each simulation has a detailed setting and are hooked up to an app-based scoring system that will track your performances throughout. Your overall results will be debriefed to you at the end of your hour, and the best results are proudly displayed (with all their glory) on our live leaderboard.
The simulations in Escape Arcade® are easy to learn but difficult to master. You choose how your experience unfolds and become the hero of your own story.
Escape Arcade® is designed to be played in teams of 2-4. We can host a maximum of 16 players every time slot, with time slots every 15 minutes. Escape Arcade® has specifically been designed in such a way whereby we’re able to support 100s of players throughout the day. This experience is ideal for large corporate events or birthday parties
Yes! We’ve often been asked about solo play in our experiences, and have implemented it wherever possible in Escape Arcade®. Many games within the Arcade are available for solo play, ask a member of our team in advance for some great recommendations.
Each simulation is linked to a unified scoring system. At the starting point of your experience, each unit is equipped with an RFID-enabled wristband. This will enable you to enter whichever simulation you choose. Across the hour, the scores you gather on each simulation will be recorded, and a total result will be counted at the end of your experience and will be discussed with you during your debrief. The best results are displayed on our live leaderboard at the venue.
Our results system allows units to compete with colleagues, friends and family throughout Escape Arcade®. If you choose to return for a second session at Escape Arcade ®, you’ll be able to compare your new (and better) scores against your first time!
We’ve hosted a huge number of corporate groups for Christmas, team building, parties, and more. Escape Arcade® is a great choice for your corporate group, as it encourages (healthy) competition, and teamwork. In fact, our live leaderboard is on display right next to Beyond the Web!
We have pre-designed Corporate Packages available specifically for corporate events. Look at our Corporate Package page for more information on the packages we offer! Please note, we require a minimum of 30 players to book onto this set of packages.
If these do not quite pique your interest, or if you have less than 30 players, we are able to offer bar tab and area reservation quotes to add onto your booking. Likewise, we are also able to offer an exclusive venue hire If you’d like to arrange this, simply get in contact with us directly by emailing bookings@enigmaquests.london and we’d be happy to provide you with a bespoke quote.
Our website automatically reserves a timeslot for 10 minutes after it’s been placed into a basket on the website.
Once this has been blocked, it will not show on the website for 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes have passed, you’ll be able to re-select your slot!

We highly recommend all bookings are made before you arrive. Our availability changes rapidly, and so to secure your spot please book via our website. Simply click ‘Book Now’ to reach our bookings page.
We are unable to reserve bookings. All our bookings are required to be paid in full at the point of the booking creation, or within 24 hours if arranged by payment link.
